The Health and Safety Institute Training ASHI Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) training program is intended primarily for teenagers and others who are planning to provide babysitting services for young children and infants. The program includes instruction on the business of babysitting, proper supervision, basic caregiving skills, and guidelines on how to recognize and handle problems that may occur.

There are no prerequisites for taking the CABS program, but additional training in CPR, AED, and first aid is highly recommended and can be added to this course.

We are offering both CPR and First Aid As Additional Options: See Below

Option 1:  CABS Only (1 CERTIFICATION): E-Learning Online Course Time: Approx. 1-1/2 Hours Total; In Person 90 Minutes

Option 2:  CABS Plus CPR (2 CERTIFICATIONS): E-Learning Online Course Time: Approx. 4 hours Total;  In-Person: 2-3 hours

Option 3:  CABS PLUS CPR & FIRST AID (3 CERTIFICATIONS): E-Learning Time: Approx. 5 hours Total; In Person: 3-3-1/2 Hours

NOTE: Elearning course does not have to be completed in one sitting.  It will resume where you leave off.

Activity Center Location

Troops can enter the mall by walking through the Macy’s Men’s & Children’s store, or through the mall entrance next to Ruby’s Diner.

The Activity Center is located close-by the Macy’s Men’s & Children’s store and across from Bargain Book World.
