The Health and Safety Institute Training ASHI Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) training program is intended primarily for ages 11-17 and others who are planning to provide babysitting services for young children and infants. The program includes instruction on the business of babysitting, proper supervision, basic caregiving skills, and guidelines on how to recognize and handle problems that may occur.

There are no prerequisites for taking the CABS program, but additional training in CPR, AED, and first aid is highly recommended and can be added to this course.

Option 3:  CABS PLUS CPR & FIRST AID (3CERTIFICATIONS): E-Learning Time: Approx. 5 hours Total; In Person: 3-3-1/2 Hours

NOTE: Elearning course does not have to be completed in one sitting.  It will resume where you leave off.

The goal of this training is to help the student develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively supervise and manage children in their care.
