AHA Certification: Heartsaver or BLS CPR Certification

Lanai High & Elementary High School This is a FREE AHA CPR AED and or BLS Provider Certification course provided by Georgia Baetge as part of her high school Passion Project. CPR it Works, LLC American Heart and American Red Cross Instructors are volunteering their time to provide this course for this training session The regular cost for this program is $55/pp. This is a one time FREE opportunity for the community of Lanai. Successful completion of course results in a 2-year nationally accredited certification card from the American Heart Association. The American Heart Association is The Gold Standard and our Nations publisher for CPR. Intended audience:
The intended audience is for both healthcare professional occupations such as nurses, doctors, medics, EMS, Lifeguards, etc., and the general public in occupations such as: teachers, security, corporations, child care providers, care givers, or anyone that would like to be prepared to act as a layperson are examples of intended audience groups. Class Topics:- Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA)

- Early detection and Prevention
- Scene Safety and Assessment

- Rescue Breathing & Using a CPR Mask
- How to use the Automated External Defibrillator (Hands on training with AED's)
- Opioid Associated Emergency and Rescue Steps
- Abdominal Thrust for Choking Victims
- The Fentanyl Crisis Awareness
