The Health and Safety Institute Training ASHI Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) training program is intended primarily for teenagers and others who are planning to provide babysitting services for young children and infants. The program includes instruction on the business of babysitting, proper supervision, basic caregiving skills, and guidelines on how to recognize and handle problems that may occur.

There are no prerequisites for taking the CABS program, but additional training in CPR, AED, and first aid is highly recommended and can be added to this course.

The goal of this training is to help the student develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively supervise and manage children in their care.

EVALUATION & CERTIFICATION

Upon completion of the online portion, the student needs to schedule a time to meet with the instructor for 1-1/2 hours either in person or virtually using Zoom to complete the summary and skills test.Student can call 714-514-5548 to schedule that skills appt.
